Funding & Fees Assistance
There are several ways to gain assistance and make savings on your childcare costs.
Government education Grant
15 hours per week FREE Childcare
● Age 3 & 4 – ALL 3 & 4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours of free nursery education for 38 weeks of the year. From the term commencing after your childs 3rd birthday they be come eligible for this funding.
● Age 2 – Some 2 year olds may be entitled to 15 hours free childcare p/w for 38 weeks per year. Eligibility is dependant on meeting specified criteria. Generally parents in receipt of certain benefits or children with special education needs will be eligible. 30 hours per week FREE Childcare
● Age 3 & 4 – You may be eligible for 30 hours per week free nursery childcare for 38 weeks per year if You, and any partner, each expect to earn on average at least £125 per week. Also available for single parents. Or if you, or your partner, are on maternity, paternity or adoption leave, or you’re unable to work because you are disabled or have caring responsibility, you may also be eligible. If your or your partners income is expected to exceed £100,000 you will not be eligible.

Other Fee assistance
Tax-FREE Childcare
For eligible parents for every £8 of childcare you pay the government will top this up by £2. You can receive up to £2,000 per year, or £500 ever three months, FREE childcare. Eligibility is similar to 30 hours above.
Tax Credits for Childcare
If you are entitled to "Working Tax Credit", and you and your partner are each working 16 hours per week you can claim back 70% of your eligible childcare care costs. This could be up to $122.50 per week depending you your income. Or if you are claiming "Universal Working Credits" you can claim back 85%.
Support while you Study
Through Care to Learn you maybe able to claim child care whilst you study. Eligiblilty applies to school, sixth-form college and some further and higher education. For further information visit www.gov.uk/care-to-learn.
Childcare Vouchers
Voucher schemes have recently been cancelled by the government. However these are still available for those parents enrolled in a scheme prior to October 2018.

At Daisychain Nursery we endeavour to suit the needs of individual parents and families. We provide flexible childcare with many session options available. Sessions maybe fixed to specific times and days, vary from week to week or available on an occasional basis, subject to availability.
